SFS Presents was first introduced in 2017. The main aim of this section is to bring AČFK distribution closer to the festival and engage the festival audience into the process of film acquisitions. Every year, AČFK selects three potential candidates that could be screened in Czech cinemas, and the audience picks the one that finally goes to distribution. So far, they have selected the following titles: the British gay romance God’s Own Country (2017), the Icelandic drama And Breathe Normally (2018), the German buddy-road-movie 25 km/h (2018), the Norwegian documentary The Painter and the Thief (2020) and the Norwegian war drama The Crossing (2021).
